Vietnam enjoys a warm and humid climate all year round.
There are 4 seasons in the North: spring from February to the end of April, summer from May to August, autumn from August to November and winter from November to February

This is the time when people start working in the rice fields and the color is magnificent

Spring (February to May) is the best time to travel with sunny and dry weather.
Summer, hot and humid, is not very pleasant, the conditions for hiking being made difficult, and the low clouds can create a thick veil above the valleys.
Autumn, from September to November is again conducive to discovering Sapa and its surroundings despite humidity still quite high and heavy showers that can occur in the late afternoon. However, beautiful sunny days generally allow you to enjoy the landscapes and the temperatures are milder.

It depends on when you are leaving and where you are going to Vietnam.
In general, remember to bring a raincoat, walking shoes for hiking and light shoes for visiting the city or the plain, sunscreen, mosquito and insect repellent, sunglasses, a hat and a swimsuit for swimming.
Bring warm clothes if you are going to the mountains or the north in winter and light clothes if you are exploring in the South, a sweater in the mountains in spring and autumn
