Each piece is not only a work of art but also a vessel of the ceramic maker’s soul. The light pink clay, sourced from Thống Vát and Cung Kiệm villages (Việt Thống commune), is transported to the village by agricultural trucks. There, locals carefully chop firewood into small pieces, stack them, and let them dry naturally under the warm sun.

Visitors can witness the birth of these ceramic masterpieces and even try their hand at embellishing designs on the clay forms. With Phù Lãng women diligently molding the clay and paying attention to every detail, each item is sun-dried before being carefully arranged in the kiln—a process that lasts up to 3 days and 3 nights. Once fired, the products are meticulously inspected, evaluated, and any minor flaws are corrected before reaching the hands of consumers.
