OCEAN CRUISE – DEPARTING FROM CAT BA ISLAND

Lan Ha Bay is located in the southeast of Halong Bay. The 300+ limestone karst islands share the same incredible scenery as Halong Bay, but with an added attraction: many white sandy beaches and the floating homes of local fishermen. Come and discover a different kind of beauty in Vietnam’s Halong Bay.

Highlights of the Ocean Cruise:

Boat size: We have boats with 2, 3, and 4 private cabins suitable for various group sizes.
Interesting and varied activities: There are many activities on board, such as kayaking, cycling or taking an electric bus in the Viet Hai fishing village, swimming, and more.
Less crowded: With Ocean Cruise, we depart from Cat Ba Island, so there are not a lot of tourists.
Engaging itineraries: You will get to make the most of the scenery and on-board activities.

DAY 1: CAI BEO CRUISE PORT – LAN HA BAY

7:30 – 7:45 AM: Pick-up by the cruise shuttle bus from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter (if booked).
12:00 – 12:10 PM: Arrive at Cai Beo Pier. Our staff will welcome you at Cai Beo Cruise Port.
12:30 – 1:00 PM: Check in on the boat. Enjoy a welcome drink and a cruise briefing.
1:15 – 2:30 PM: Lunch is served as the cruise sails towards the charming Lan Ha Bay. Admire the fascinating rock formations along the way.
3:00 – 5:00 PM: Explore the stunning, tranquil bay by kayak or simply relax on a pristine beach on the island.
5:30 – 7:15 PM: Return to the junk boat to refresh yourself and enjoy some relaxing time on the sundeck before dinner. Dinner is served on board.
After Dinner: Relax on the sundeck or have a drink at the bar.
Overnight: On board.

DAY 2: VIET HAI VILLAGE – CAI BEO CRUISE PORT

7:00 – 7:50 AM: Wake up to a morning view of the bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Enjoy breakfast in our cozy dining room, decorated in Vietnamese style, as we head towards Viet Hai fishing village.
8:00 – 9:30 AM: Cycle or take an electric car to explore the local life of a fishing village on the island and immerse yourself in the fresh air of the lush, evergreen trees and the simple life of Viet Hai village.
10:00 AM: Check out of your cabin. Start cruising back to the port while lunch is served.
11:45 – 12:00 PM: Disembark.
12:15 PM: The cruise shuttle bus will pick you up and transfer you back to Hanoi (if booked).
3:30 PM: Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
