DAY 1 : HANOI ARRIVAL – OLD QUARTER (L)

You will be warmly welcomed at the beautiful capital of Vietnam by your English speaking driver and guide who will be delighted to drive you to your comfortable, handpicked hotel in the center of the city.

With a quick rest before the afternoon, you will enjoy a great city walk through Hanoi’s best known attractions including the Opera House, Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple which honors General Tran Hung Dao who defeated the invader in 13^th century.

Lunch in a restaurant.

In the afternoon, please relax after your long flight. Your room will be ready from 2 pm onwards.

DAY 2 : EXPLORING THE CAPITAL (B, L)

Have breakfast at the hotel and ready for the trip at the lobby OR the meeting points.

Our guide will pick you up between 07h45 and 08h00.

08h30: Arrive Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6^th century.

09h00 – 9h15: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world

11h00: Visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam.

12h30: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with 8 delicious dishes.

13h30 – 13h45: Continue visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11^th century

17h00: Tour finishes. Back to hotel and you will have free time for dinner.

Overnight in Hanoi

DAY 3 : HANOI – NINH BINH – HANOI (B, L)

8h00: Your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer about 2.5 hours to Hoa Lu – Ninh Binh, the capital of Vietnam in the 10^th and 11^th centuries.

On arrival, we will visit Hoa Lu (the Ancient Capital City of Vietnam)

Have lunch at a local restaurant with some local special dishes such as Goat meat with elderberry, pork storage vessel.

Continue to visit Trang An Scenic Landscape complex nearby which was recently recognized as an UNESCO World natural heritage, get on a rowing boat (small sampan) traveling along the small river with scenic mountain and green fields landscape. Boat takes you to visit the cave complex of Trang An: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, the scenery of mountain and rivers – Halong on land of Ninh Binh.

Hiking about 500 steps to conquer Mua Cave peak. You will be dropped in Hanoi hotel about 7-8pm.

DAY 4: HANOI – HA LONG BAY (B, L, D)

No guide – With driver

After hotel breakfast, do check out your room.

8:00- 8:30 Our driver picks up at your hotel and take 2.5 hours to Ha Long Bay.

12:30 On arrival at pier, you will board cruise to have lunch on cruise.

During cruising time, we will have some activities: Hiking to Titop Island (425 steps), Kayaking in small cave, cooking class.

DAY 5: HA LONG BAY – HANOI – RETURN FLIGHT (B, L)

07:00 Enjoy your breakfast, coffee, tea, fruits.

08:00 Visit Surprising Cave – the most beautiful one in Halong Bay.

09:00 Back to cruise for check-out.

10h00: Farewell brunch served on the cruise before you arrive at harbor.

11:00 Stay at the harbor and wait for the bus

12:00 Get on the bus back Hanoi.

15:00 Transfer you back to your hotel.

We’ll take you to the airport for your flight home.
